Adding Value

As an SME we are often asked how we add value during a client engagement?  It is sometimes wrongly assumed that because we are a smaller consultancy, we are unable or unwilling to go the extra mile.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.

At Silcox Information Security Limited, we routinely go the extra mile, its part of who we are and it is our reason to be.  We pride ourselves on our ability to go native upon client partnerships and to deliver exactly what the client wants; to expressly listen to their needs and to deliver within budgetary and time constraints.  We do not provide ‘cookie cutter’ services to any of our clients.

Adding greater value is where we excel; to demonstrate this we provide, free of charge to our clients, cyber security awareness and training events.  We bring along some of the most renowned global experts in the industry; all of whom we are pleased to call friends and trusted colleagues.

On the 2nd of February 2016, we arranged, as the second in our Cybersecurity Presentation Series, for Professor Viktor Meyer-Schönberger to present to one of our clients.

His uniquely entertaining and informative presentation covered the subject of his latest book, ‘Big Data’.  Not only does Viktor hold the chair of Internet Governance and Regulation at the University of Oxford Internet Institute, but his latest book has won the Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award.  Big Data has for the last 18 consecutive months been the top selling non-fiction book in China selling millions of copies.
